Transcript of the report:

These tiny steps are headed towards their school with a sack (a cheap version school bag) on their shoulders. But neither the way to their school nor the path to education are easy for these young kids. They are required to negotiate the dangers associated with crossing a functional (unmanned and unguarded) railway track, daily, to commute to and from their temple of knowledge. With no school building available, these children are forced to study under the open sky, come rain or shine. This is the state of affairs of a rural school near the city of Udaipur in Rajasthan, India. The school, established under the District Primary Education program, has been running such for seven years. The hills and forests around the area increase the risk of animal. The teachers argue that an open school run under trees, with no facility even to safely store books, documents and other necessary items, cannot provide a congenial environment for learning!
