Sitting face to face...

Darkness feels very soothing sometimes,
covering us all
with its' dense dark guard;
giving us a chance
to look into us,
which we don't
with light abundant.

It's the darkness and
yes,the darkness only
when we see us face to face
asking us
a bunch of questions,
however silly ;
the answer of which know we must
just to know our 'US'
in a better form.

Darkness feels very blessing that time
'Me' with 'Myself' only;
with the surrounding world
vanished in black.....

I completely agree with you.  There were times in life when I had to think over my decisions and nothing felt as soothing as darkness ..............it helps me to escape from the real world.

But then i realised that when everything was fine with my life and crisis over, i didnt like loneliness anymore.

Just wanted to share my views, the poem was a good read especially
