Anniversary of confirmation
Anniversary of confirmation,
how time’s gone by.
As the day wraps up,
it’s hard to see it go bye.
It’s hard to think
how the months have gone.
It’s hard to think
how the days have gone.
I can still remember
the day of confirmation
and still remember
the faith at confirmation.
As I sit here and look
at the cards of the day,
I realize how time
has changed much from the day.
I am now in the choir.
I’m crucifer at church.
I am now expressing
my faith of the church.
So as I wrap up the day,
I hope to keep this in mind:
No matter how life changes,
I should never let God stray from my mind.
