Hineni

This is one of my religious works. Hope you like it.
- We are connected with God
- in one way or another.
- Whether we express through drums or drama,
- we are connected in one way or another.
- We learned that today
- with chants and drumming
- as we chant with the word
- Hineni1 and a little bit of drumming.
- We start with a shower
- ( a shaker shower that is)
- as we all release our emotions
- and connect us with the moment, this.
- We go to the beat
- that connects us all,
- The heartbeat that is,
- as we create a rhythm that moves us all.
- We end with chants,
- such as Veni Sancte Spiritus2 and How could anyone ever tell you,
- that remind us that
- God is the one God and you
- are the only you.
1: Hineni (pronounced Hee-neh-nee) means Here I am.
2:Veni Sancte Spiritus means Come Holy Spirit.
