My last rites

On the banks of the mighty river
I lay on the sandal wood pier;
So serene, so calm my physical being
Soul lost in the embrace of the eternal dream.
People gathered on the cremation ground
remember a life lead so proud
set the final pier afire
my visage curls
to the warmth
of the fire.
A journey so great
so full of struggles
transiting through avenues
so full of gravels and scuffles
turn into cinders
to be immersed
into the river.

amartya I think life is
amartya
I think life is too beautiful to dwell upon our rites, but the poem is good
goodluck .wishing you a very long life
very rythmic
it was as if i was singing one of james blunt song
very gud to express the experice after death.
