GANDHI THE SUPER CHAMELEON

 GANDHI THE SUPER CHAMELEON

Gandhi is an enigma, a super chameleon
An all time great magician
Reflecting through thousand facets
A radiant, soul-technician.

Messiah, yet a common man
Extra ordinary in being "ordinary"
A social Engineer, yet an endearing man
He is unashamedly contradictory.

He shares with JESUS and BUDDHA and other sages
But he went ahead, put their values in political practice
In the grime and crime of in-justice
A royal "Fakir" a man of many images.

Criticized by the violent revolutionary, the communist and communalist
Political "Dalits" and profit- obsessed capitalist
Truly like a father or a mother, he wove, the Indian unity
Aiming at "Antyodaya" he is an uncompromising humanist.

2.
We have killed Gandhi and we kill him again
By mindless worship, in deference to his meaning and for hypocritical gain
Relevance of Gandhi is the relevance of human conscience
king, Mandela even ' Munnabhai '  are closer to him in deep sense!

A great original scientist as he experimented with truth
In the inner lab of head, heart soul; and external truth
Failed many times, lost most of the battles yet he won the "War"
A plain bare bodied, yet a embodying highest Love and Truth!
