Caterpillar Man
Here's another, I'm back to the insect's....my little friends on my porch.
A caterpillar amongst the ants.
A slow commuter while others…
Rampant run and carry on.
One hundred hands,
On my belly crawl.
One million friends,
While working,
Watch my fall.
A caterpillar amongst the ants.
I reach for them.
One hundred hands,
ever empty palms;
too busy they scurry,
too busy they stay.
Each step I take,
a step too late.
A caterpillar amongst the ants.
I dream of lessened digits,
I dream of a freer hearts
To pluck each arm
and each hand with it.
To bandage myself
In silk and spit.
Hopefully, I'm no completely nuts and you guys can see the imagery at the end clearly as I don't typically do an open ending.
