You ask me if I love you,
and I ask myself how to begin
to share with you
the feelings in my heart.

You inspire in me a love so deep
words cannot describe it,
so powerful that it overwhelms
my every thought.

You ask me if I love you,
and I wish there were a way
you could just see into my soul
and find the depth of passion,
tenderness, and love
that holds you closer to my heart
than anyone or anything else.

This is an EXCELLENT poem.... I liked it very much... I think it's stupid to ask the person she knows loves her if he loves her.... and u are right... love can't be expressed in words... many have tried and failed... and a simple I LOVE YOU has been too much abused to mean anything anymore...

That's the tragedy of love... the person you love will probably never understand the depth of your passion....

Well written once again...

just something that i notice and it's not important at all...

"and I wish there were a way" - it should be either "and I wish there was a way" or "and I wish there were ways"
