An engineer by profession, a wanderer by choice

I know his retirement plan consists of a mountain and a book shop.

As he sees me go crazy with lousy ghazals and rock songs

We weren’t super close

Yet he reads my mind always

Calls up once in a while

Yet never makes me feel incomplete

He is my friend, my accomplice

My inspiration to write, my motivator to read

I don’t know what I would do without you
